Foundations of the Christian Faith

This course introduces you to the basic teachings of the Christian faith from the Bible. It begins with the truth that God has revealed Himself through Scripture and through His Son Jesus Christ. Each lesson will build on that foundation so you can understand what Christians believe and why those beliefs matter.

This course is intended for new believers and for anyone who wants a clearer understanding of biblical Christianity. It may also help you if you have heard Christian terms for years but have never studied the foundations in an orderly way. No previous Bible course is required.

You will learn about Scripture. You will study the nature of God. You will examine creation and the problem of sin. You will learn why Jesus Christ is central to salvation and how the Holy Spirit works in the life of the believer.

The purpose of this course is not only to explain Christian doctrine. It is also meant to help you grow in faith and obedience. By the end of the course you should have a stronger biblical foundation for worship, prayer, church fellowship, personal growth, and daily Christian living.
