Psalms 61,62,63

Psalms 61

1Hear my cry, God; Give Your attention to my prayer.

2From the end of the earth I call to You when my heart is faint; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

3For You have been a refuge for me, A tower of strength against the enemy.

4Let me dwell in Your tent forever; Let me take refuge in the shelter of Your wings. Selah

5For You have heard my vows, God; You have given me the inheritance of those who fear Your name.

6You will prolong the king’s life; His years will be like generations.

7He will sit enthroned before God forever; Appoint faithfulness and truth that they may watch over him.

8So I will sing praise to Your name forever, That I may pay my vows day by day.

Psalms 62

1My soul waits in silence for God alone; From Him comes my salvation.

2He alone is my rock and my salvation, My stronghold; I will not be greatly shaken.

3How long will you attack a man, That you may murder him, all of you, Like a leaning wall, like a tottering fence?

4They have planned only to thrust him down from his high position; They delight in falsehood; They bless with their mouth, But inwardly they curse. Selah

5My soul, wait in silence for God alone, For my hope is from Him.

6He alone is my rock and my salvation, My refuge; I will not be shaken.

7My salvation and my glory rest on God; The rock of my strength, my refuge is in God.

8Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your hearts before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah

9People of low standing are only breath, and people of rank are a lie; In the balances they go up. Together they are lighter than breath.

10Do not trust in oppression, And do not vainly rely on robbery; If wealth increases, do not set your heart on it.

11God has spoken once; Twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God;

12And faithfulness is Yours, Lord, For You reward a person according to his work.

Psalms 63

1God, You are my God; I shall be watching for You; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, In a dry and exhausted land where there is no water.

2So have I seen You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and glory.

3Because Your favor is better than life, My lips will praise You.

4So I will bless You as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.

5My soul is satisfied as with fat and fatness, And my mouth offers praises with joyful lips.

6When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches,

7For You have been my help, And in the shadow of Your wings I sing for joy.

8My soul clings to You; Your right hand takes hold of me.

9But those who seek my life to destroy it, Will go into the depths of the earth.

10They will be turned over to the power of the sword; They will be a prey for foxes.

11But the king will rejoice in God; Everyone who swears by Him will boast, For the mouths of those who speak lies will be stopped.
