¹Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD from the heavens; Praise Him in the heights!

²Praise Him, all His angels; Praise Him, all His hosts (armies)!

³Praise Him, sun and moon: Praise Him, all stars of light!

⁴Praise Him, highest heavens, And the waters above the heavens!

⁵Let them praise the name of the LORD, For He commanded and they were created.

⁶He has also established them forever and ever; He has made a decree which shall not pass away.

⁷Praise the LORD from the earth, Sea monsters and all deeps;

⁸Lightning and hail, snow and fog; Stormy wind, fulfilling His orders;

⁹Mountains and all hills; Fruitful trees and all cedars;

¹⁰Beasts and all cattle; Creeping things and winged birds;

¹¹Kings of the earth and all people; Princes and all judges of the earth;

¹²Both young men and virgins; Old men and children.

¹³Let them praise the name of the LORD, For His name alone is exalted and supreme; His glory and majesty are above earth and heaven.

¹⁴He has lifted up a horn for His people [giving them strength, prosperity, dignity, and preeminence], Praise for all His godly ones; For the people of Israel, a people near to Him. Praise the LORD! (Hallelujah!)

¹Praise the LORD! Sing to the LORD a new song, And praise Him in the congregation of His godly ones (believers).

²Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; Let Zion's children rejoice in their King.

³Let them praise His name with dancing; Let them sing praises to Him with the tambourine and lyre.

⁴For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation.

⁵Let the godly ones exult in glory; Let them sing for joy on their beds.

⁶Let the high praises of God be in their throats, And a two-edged sword in their hands,

⁷To execute vengeance on the nations And punishment on the peoples,

⁸To bind their kings with chains And their nobles with fetters of iron,

⁹To execute on them the judgment written. This is the honor for all His godly ones. Praise the LORD! (Hallelujah!)

²Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to [the abundance of] His greatness.

³Praise Him with trumpet sound; Praise Him with harp and lyre.

⁴Praise Him with tambourine and dancing; Praise Him with stringed instruments and flute.

⁵Praise Him with resounding cymbals; Praise Him with loud cymbals.

⁶Let everything that has breath and every breath of life praise the LORD! Praise the LORD! (Hallelujah!)
