Parables Unveiled
Matthew 13:31-32; Mark 4:30-32; Luke 13:18-19
Matthew 13:31-32
31He presented another parable to them: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field.
32It’s the smallest of all the seeds, but when grown, it’s taller than the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the sky come and nest in its branches.”
Mark 4:30-32
30And he said, “With what can we compare the kingdom of God, or what parable can we use to describe it?
31It’s like a mustard seed that, when sown upon the soil, is the smallest of all the seeds on the ground.
32And when sown, it comes up and grows taller than all the garden plants, and produces large branches, so that the birds of the sky can nest in its shade.”
Luke 13:18-19
18He said, therefore, “What is the kingdom of God like, and what can I compare it to?
19It’s like a mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his garden. It grew and became a tree, and the birds of the sky nested in its branches.”
