Romans

9:22

What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:

9:23

And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

9:24

Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

9:25

As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.

9:26

And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.

9:28

For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.

And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha.

As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

10:3

For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

10:8

But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

10:9

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.

11:1

I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

11:3

Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.

11:5

Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

11:8

(According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

11:9

And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:

11:10

Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.

11:12

Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?

11:14

If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.

11:16

For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.

11:17

And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;

11:22

Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

11:23

And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.

11:24

For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?

11:26

And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

11:27

For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

11:29

For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

11:30

For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:

11:31

Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.

11:33

O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

11:35

Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?

11:36

For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

12:2

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

12:14

Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

12:15

Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

13:3

For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

13:5

Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

13:6

For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.

13:9

For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

13:11

And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

13:12

The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

13:13

Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

13:14

But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

14:3

Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.

14:6

He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
