"a vessel for burning incense" (2Ch 26:19, Eze 8:11), is found in Heb 9:4.

denotes "frankincense," the gum of the libanos, "the frankincense tree;" in a secondary sense, "a vessel in which to burn incense," Rev 8:3, Rev 8:5.

Note: No. 1 derives its significance from the act of burning (thumiao); No. 2 from that which was burned in the vessel.
