Furnish

or stronnuo, "to spread," is used of "furnishing a room," Mar 14:15, Luk 22:12; of "making a bed," Act 9:34; in Mat 21:8, Mar 11:8, "spread" (AV, "strawed," twice). See SPREAD.

"to fit out, to prepare perfectly, to complete for a special purpose" (ex, "out," used intensively, and artios, "joined," artos, "a joint"), is used of "accomplishing" days, Act 21:5, i.e., of "terminating" a space of time; of being "completely furnished," by means of the Scriptures, for spiritual service, 2Ti 3:17.
