lit., "to throw aside" (para, "aside," ballo, "to throw"), hence, "to expose oneself to danger, to hazard one's life," is said of Epaphroditus in Phi 2:30, RV, "hazarding." Some mss. have parabouleuomai here, "to consult amiss," AV, "not regarding."
