for which see BEFORE, No. 9, is translated "in the sight of" in the RV (for AV, "before") in Luk 12:6, Luk 15:18, Luk 16:15, Act 7:46, Act 10:33, Act 19:19, 1Ti 5:4, 1Ti 5:21, 2Ti 2:14, 2Ti 4:1, Rev 13:12. The RV is more appropriate in most passages, as giving the real significance of the word.
