Fire

Acts 2:1 - And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

Acts 2:2 - And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

Acts 2:3 - And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

Acts 2:4 - And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Acts 2:5 - And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

Acts 2:6 - Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

Acts 2:7 - And they were all amazed and marveled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

Acts 2:8 - And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

Acts 2:9 - Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,

Acts 2:10 - Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,

Acts 2:11 - Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

Acts 2:12 - And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

Acts 2:13 - Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

Acts 2:14 - But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

Acts 2:15 - For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.
1 Corinthians 3:11 - For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 3:12 - Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

1 Corinthians 3:13 - Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

1 Corinthians 3:14 - If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

1 Corinthians 3:15 - If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

1 Corinthians 3:16 - Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

1 Corinthians 3:17 - If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
Hebrews 12:29 - For our God is a consuming fire.
Jude 1:7 - Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
Revelation 20:9 - And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
Revelation 21:8 - But the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
