Matthew 6:1 - Matthew 6:2 - Matthew 6:3 - But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: Matthew 6:4 - That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly. Matthew 6:5 - Matthew 6:6 - But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. Matthew 6:7 - But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Matthew 6:8 - Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: Matthew 6:29 - Matthew 6:30 - Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Matthew 6:31 - Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? Matthew 6:32 - (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek: ) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. Matthew 6:33 - But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:34 - Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. |
