Genesis

God also said, “Look, I have given you every seed-bearing plant on the surface of the entire earth and every tree whose fruit contains seed. This will be food for you,

Every creature that lives and moves will be food for you; as I gave the green plants, I have given you everything.

However, you must not eat meat with its lifeblood in it.

Deuteronomy

He humbled you by letting you go hungry; then he gave you manna to eat, which you and your fathers had not known, so that you might learn that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.

“You may eat everything from the water that has fins and scales,

but you may not eat anything that does not have fins and scales — it is unclean for you.

Nehemiah

Then he said to them, “Go and eat what is rich, drink what is sweet, and send portions to those who have nothing prepared, since today is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, because the joy of the LORD is your strength.”

Acts

Romans

One who eats must not look down on one who does not eat, and one who does not eat must not judge one who does, because God has accepted him.

1 Corinthians

“Everything is permissible,” but not everything is beneficial. “Everything is permissible,” but not everything builds up.

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.

2 Corinthians

Now the one who provides seed for the sower and bread for food will also provide and multiply your seed and increase the harvest of your righteousness.
