Loneliness

The LORD is the one who will go before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or abandon you. Do not be afraid or discouraged.”

Even when I go through the darkest valley, I fear no danger, for you are with me; your rod and your staff — they comfort me.

Even if my father and mother abandon me, the LORD cares for me.

Look to the right and see: no one stands up for me; there is no refuge for me; no one cares about me.

I cry to you, LORD; I say, “You are my shelter, my portion in the land of the living.”

Listen to my cry, for I am very weak. Rescue me from those who pursue me, for they are too strong for me.

“I will not leave you as orphans; I am coming to you.

At my first defense, no one stood by me, but everyone deserted me. May it not be counted against them.

But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that I might fully preach the word and all the Gentiles might hear it. So I was rescued from the lion’s mouth.

The Lord will rescue me from every evil work and will bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever! Amen.

Keep your life free from the love of money. Be satisfied with what you have, for he himself has said, I will never leave you or abandon you.
