Walking with God

These are the descendants of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation; Noah walked with God.

You must follow exactly the path that the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live, and that it may go well with you, and that you may live long in the land that you are to possess.

“Agree with God, and be at peace; in this way good will come to you.

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

Truly I love your commandments more than gold, more than fine gold.

And when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left, your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”

Do two walk together unless they have made an appointment?

He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

“Thus says the LORD of hosts: If you will walk in my ways and keep my requirements, then you shall rule my house and have charge of my courts, and I will give you the right of access among those who are standing here.

let us live honorably as in the day, not in reveling and drunkenness, not in debauchery and licentiousness, not in quarreling and jealousy.

for we walk by faith, not by sight.

Live by the Spirit, I say, and do not gratify the desires of the flesh.

For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life.

As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, continue to live your lives in him,

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight and the sin that clings so closely, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us,

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love.
