Numbers 8:23 - And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
Numbers 8:24 - This is it that belongeth unto the Levites: from twenty and five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service of the tabernacle of the congregation:
Numbers 8:25 - And from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting upon the service thereof, and shall serve no more:

Titus 1:5 - For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:
Titus 1:6 - If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.
Titus 1:7 - For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not self-willed, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;
Titus 1:8 - But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;
Titus 1:9 - Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. |
Titus 2:1 - But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
Titus 2:2 - That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.
Titus 2:3 - The aged women likewise, that they be in behavior as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
Titus 2:4 - That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
Titus 2:5 - To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
Titus 2:6 - Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.
Titus 2:7 - In all things showing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine showing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, |
Hebrews 13:17 - Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you. |
1 Peter 5:1 - The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
1 Peter 5:2 - Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
1 Peter 5:3 - Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being examples to the flock.
1 Peter 5:4 - And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
1 Peter 5:5 - Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
1 Peter 5:6 - Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
1 Peter 5:7 - Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
1 Peter 5:8 - Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
1 Peter 5:9 - Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
1 Peter 5:10 - But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you. |
