Deuteronomy 20:1 - When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

Deuteronomy 20:2 - And it shall be, when ye are come nigh unto the battle, that the priest shall approach and speak unto the people,

Deuteronomy 20:3 - And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them;

Deuteronomy 20:4 - For the LORD your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.
Judges 6:12 - And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valor.
Judges 11:1 - Now Jephthah the Gileadite was a mighty man of valor, and he was the son of a harlot: and Gilead begot Jephthah.

Judges 11:2 - And Gilead's wife bore him sons; and his wife's sons grew up, and they thrust out Jephthah, and said unto him, Thou shalt not inherit in our father's house; for thou art the son of a strange woman.

Judges 11:3 - Then Jephthah fled from his brethren, and dwelt in the land of Tob: and there were gathered vain men to Jephthah, and went out with him.

Judges 11:4 - And it came to pass in process of time, that the children of Ammon made war against Israel.

Judges 11:5 - And it was so, that when the children of Ammon made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to fetch Jephthah out of the land of Tob:

Judges 11:6 - And they said unto Jephthah, Come, and be our captain, that we may fight with the children of Ammon.

Judges 11:7 - And Jephthah said unto the elders of Gilead, Did not ye hate me, and expel me out of my father's house? and why are ye come unto me now when ye are in distress?

Judges 11:8 - And the elders of Gilead said unto Jephthah, Therefore we turn again to thee now, that thou mayest go with us, and fight against the children of Ammon, and be our head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.

Judges 11:9 - And Jephthah said unto the elders of Gilead, If ye bring me home again to fight against the children of Ammon, and the LORD deliver them before me, shall I be your head?

Judges 11:10 - And the elders of Gilead said unto Jephthah, The LORD be witness between us, if we do not so according to thy words.

Judges 11:11 - Then Jephthah went with the elders of Gilead, and the people made him head and captain over them: and Jephthah uttered all his words before the LORD in Mizpeh.

Judges 11:12 - And Jephthah sent messengers unto the king of the children of Ammon, saying, What hast thou to do with me, that thou art come against me to fight in my land?
1 Chronicles 12:8 - And of the Gadites there separated themselves unto David into the hold to the wilderness men of might, and men of war fit for the battle, that could handle shield and buckler, whose faces were like the faces of lions, and were as swift as the roes upon the mountains;
2 Chronicles 25:5 - Moreover Amaziah gathered Judah together, and made them captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, according to the houses of their fathers, throughout all Judah and Benjamin: and he numbered them from twenty years old and above, and found them three hundred thousand choice men, able to go forth to war, that could handle spear and shield.

2 Chronicles 25:6 - He hired also a hundred thousand mighty men of valor out of Israel for a hundred talents of silver.
Psalms 144:1 - A Psalm of David. Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:
John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:2 - The same was in the beginning with God.

John 1:3 - All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

John 1:4 - In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

John 1:5 - And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

John 1:6 - There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

John 1:7 - The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.

John 1:8 - He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

John 1:9 - That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

John 1:10 - He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

John 1:11 - He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

John 1:12 - But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

John 1:13 - Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

John 1:14 - And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

John 1:15 - John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.

John 1:16 - And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace.

John 1:17 - For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

John 1:18 - No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

John 1:19 - And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou?

John 1:20 - And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ.

John 1:21 - And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elijah? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that Prophet? And he answered, No.

John 1:22 - Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?

John 1:23 - He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Isaiah.

John 1:24 - And they which were sent were of the Pharisees.

John 1:25 - And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elijah, neither that prophet?

John 1:26 - John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not;

John 1:27 - He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose.

John 1:28 - These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing.

John 1:29 - The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

John 1:30 - This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me.

John 1:31 - And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.

John 1:32 - And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.

John 1:33 - And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.

John 1:34 - And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.

John 1:35 - Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples;

John 1:36 - And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!

John 1:37 - And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.

John 1:38 - Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou?

John 1:39 - He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour.

John 1:40 - One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother.

John 1:41 - He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messiah, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.

John 1:42 - And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.

John 1:43 - The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me.

John 1:44 - Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.

John 1:45 - Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.

John 1:46 - And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.

John 1:47 - Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!

John 1:48 - Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.

John 1:49 - Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.

John 1:50 - Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these.

John 1:51 - And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.
1 Peter 2:9 - But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

1 Peter 2:10 - Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
1 Peter 3:7 - Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honor unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
Revelation 12:7 - And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

Revelation 12:8 - And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

Revelation 12:9 - And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Revelation 12:10 - And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

Revelation 12:11 - And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
